 Queensland Lightning Sprints race at various tracks including Maryborough, Toowoomba, Archerfield Brisbane and Kingaroy. Our race season usually starts around September and goes through until May. Once you are a member of our club, you will collect points at each racing meeting and then the final points will be announced at a Trophy Presentation Night at the end of the season. These cars have either car engines or some have motorbike engines. They can reach speeds up to 90 km on the straight and are powered by methanonl fuel. All drivers need to have Speedway Australia insurance and fire protectant safety gear according to Speedway Australia specifications.
